I grow more proud every day!
Back before these two boys had even taken their first steps, I thought, "What kind of adults will they grow into?" Would they be good people! With this most recent example, I don't have any more concerns:
Hello Family and Friends,
As you may have heard, Andrew and I are running in a virtual race this March to raise funds in support of Youth Mental Health – the 4x4x48 race. Starting March 5th at 8pm, we will run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours – a race popularized by David Goggins, an ultra-runner, motivational speaker and huge advocate for pushing your mental self out it’s comfort zone.
Below are links to our donation pages. It is okay to NOT be okay – we are all here for each other, so reach out to your friends, family, co-workers and spread some love.
All proceeds raised will support youth mental health on behalf of The Maddie Project at North York General Hospital. The Maddie Project is a community effort in support of youth struggling with depression and other mental health related concerns.
Thank you for your support!
One love,
Andrew and Courtney
Over 48 hours, each of them ran 4 miles every 4 hours. Through two nights and in rain and cold. At the end they had each ran 48 miles.
Exhausted! Satisfied! There were no crowds to celebrate their finish. Just family!
In the end they raised a combined total of over $5,800 for the Maddie Project to support Youth Mental Health.
I could not be more proud!
One Love!
Chris
