I could wait until it gets launched in the US then find some willing importer to bring one up to Canada. The hassle of that sucks not to mention the extra cost on top of paying full retail. Oh, and no warranty or service.
I could flip to an Acura or Audi. Both make excellent driving cars. Hmmm...
I am considering buying out the lease on my current Saab. At less than the previously agreed upon figure. No warranty though and it would need brakes and tires.
Decisions, decisions...
I likely will drop down to a winter beater and decide next spring.
Irrational as it seems, I love Saabs and will wait-and-see...
I own (2) Saabs (2007 9-5 Aero Sportcombi & 2009 9-3 XWD Sedan). My lease on the 9-5 is up April 2011 and I will also attempt to purchase the vehicle for less than the previously agreed price. But I doubt I'll have any success since that would be going against the rules of the lease contract. I will most likely return the vehicle at end of the lease and hope its on the lot the next day and then negotiate a purchase price than is more reasonable than its residual value. I have been extremely satisfied with both vehicles and it will be difficult to part with my 9-5. Right now there are too many unknowns (service, warranty), hopefully by the spring of 2011 it will be easier to make the decision!
ReplyDeleteLet it go. I reluctantly bid farewell to my 9-3 sportcombi and the cavernous interior. Said hello to an ex35 and it is an amazing product. See what else is out there. The 9-5 was a 12 year old model with minimal upgrades over that time. The new one looks slick though.
ReplyDeleteDon't know what all the fuss is about ... I checked this YouTube and suggest you get a civic!
