Canadians using the Internet to catch up on News

Are the days of the 6 pm TV news numbered?

These days people get 'Breaking News' via the Internet but still turn to TV for deeper analysis and a POV on how the news will affect them.  So for now, TV news seems safe especially for those news producers who've embraced deeper and different news content on their web sites.
